*NEWS* Foundation North: Kia wātea ai te ara | Our journey to be a Te Tiriti led organisation
Maurea on behalf of Foundation North • 2nd April 2024
Foundation North is proud to unveil a short film that encapsulates our haerenga (journey) with Te Tiriti. This cinematic piece is a testament to our dedication and serves as a milestone in our evolving journey.
In this shared voyage, we acknowledge the myriad organizations embarking on similar paths, understanding that there is much to learn from one another.
This film offers a window into our experiences, capturing pivotal moments and paying tribute to those who have influenced, and continue to influence, our distinctive narrative.
We express our deepest appreciation to our Kaumātua Kevin Prime, Chair Walter Wells, and former trustees Pat Snedden and Precious Clark for their invaluable time and insights.
Our CEO, Precious Clark, also played a significant role in the creation of this film, reflecting her leadership and vision.
Special thanks to Tukaha Milne for accompanying us on this journey and to Curative, our creative partner and Kaihautū of the project, for their support and Te Reo Māori guidance.
We invite you to join us on this visual odyssey as we honor our past, celebrate our present, and look forward to an exciting future.
